‘Killa’ is a Swedish nicotine pouch brand, produced by NGP Sweden, who also produce the well-known products ‘Pablo’ and ‘BLCK’.
The Killa ‘Melon’ melon tub still has the old white and grey design, although they will move to the new metallic silver colour soon. As described in my review on Killa ‘Cold Mint’; the red ‘KILLA’ logo is accompanied by a human skull with wings and a bird skull. A small feature I really like about this can is the Sweden flag on the side.
The pouches have the smell of a mixture of mint and melon, although the melon is much more distinct in the taste ,with just a hint of mint. The melon taste lasts around 30-40 minutes, with the minty taste lasting for around 20 more minutes. Similar to other Killa products, ‘Melon’ is a reasonably dry portion, without much drip. However, when compared to the minty flavours, especially ‘Cold Mint’, the burn is much weaker, which many users may prefer. If you enjoy fruity pouches and have never tried any melon flavours, Killa is definitely a good place to start.
The pouches themselves are an off-white colour, with a nice build like most Killa products. The only bad thing I have to say about these pouches is when I opened the tub, some of them were stuck together in a large block. It didn’t dampen the experience of using them at all though, I just had to pull them apart to separate them.
With a strength of 24mg/g, Killa products are classed as ‘extra strong’, and the experience with ‘Melon’ will not make you question it. The nicotine doesn’t hit as quickly as it does with ‘Cold Mint’, but does give a steady rush as you would expect with the high nicotine content.
Killa ‘Melon’ is a nicopod I would recommend to any user who enjoys pouches around the 24mg range, the mix of mint and melon provides a very neutral flavour that I think anybody can enjoy.
You can buy ‘Melon’, as well as other flavours from the Killa range here.
